FROM THE HEART
In Meditation there is the Lord
My heart is like a garden
There rests the Lord
Meditation is an inner fountain
Scent, fragrance, greenery everywhere
This is what I have sought
The day breaks
Like the pages of a book
As I turn one by one
Breathing, having ups and downs
In the Spirit
What more can I ask for
I wouldn’t like to look back as before
For the present moment is
What matters

Meditation paves the way
For me to experience, to chant
To love, embrace and come to one
With my beloved Lord
No more worries, no more fears
For as I meditate daily
The Lord once so distant
Now so close
Teaching me to live
Teaching me to love
As He loves each of us
With his shattered and yet full self

My life is not mine
It is the Lord’s
Be it the same, be it differs
From my past or from any other’s
All these are not the heart of the matter
Because the focus is here and now
The King of Prince lives within me
Takes me wherever He goes
On the silent path of Meditation
