| UGANDA |
| FROM THE HEART |
I am a Comboni Missionary, Italian, and I have been working in
Uganda since 1995. AT present I am the novice- master here in
Namugongo, the place where most of the Uganda Martyrs were killed.
Since 1992, when I was still a theology student in Austria, I have been
praying/ meditating in a way that is quite similar to the school of John
Main. At that time, I was introduced by a Jesuit priest, in Germany, called
Franz Jalics. Ever since, after some ups and downs of the first two
years, I have tried to remain faithful to it and now I can say that my way
of praying, thus my life has changed. I have come to realise that it is high
time I begin to share with others my experience and perhaps try to
start a meditation group here in Uganda (March 2004)
Thank you for making known to the WCCM that here, in the heart of
Africa, in 'Pearl of Africa', there is a small group (about 15 people), there
are hearts that are 'breathing' the Spirit that was specially spread by
John Main and other great spiritual writers.(January 2006)
